NANOGRAM DEVICES NAMES PRESIDENT AND CEO

Shareholders of Harris & Harris Group, Inc. may be interested in knowing that NanoGram Devices Corporation (www.nanogramdevices.com) has named its President and CEO, Barry Cheskin. Mr. Cheskin has served in a number of senior executive roles in the medical device industry. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of publicly-traded RITA Medical Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RITA), a manufacturer of minimally invasive surgical instruments used to treat benign and cancerous tumors.

Harris & Harris Group invested $750,000 in NanoGram Devices in February of 2003. NanoGram Devices has developed and is commercializing specialized power sources for medical devices and other medical equipment based on its patented, laser-based nanomaterial synthesis technology.
