HARRIS & HARRIS GROUP NOTES NANTERO FUNDING

Harris & Harris Group, Inc., noted today that Nantero, Inc., a nanotechnology company using carbon nanotubes for the development of next-generation semiconductor devices, announced today that it received its third round of investment (Series C), led by Globespan Capital Partners. Returning existing institutional investors include Charles River Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Stata Venture Partners, as well as Harris & Harris Group. Harris & Harris Group had previously participated in the A and B rounds of Nantero's funding, beginning in 2001.

Harris & Harris Group is a publicly traded venture capital company that now makes initial investments exclusively in tiny technology, including nanotechnology, microsystems and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). The Company's last 22 initial private equity investments have been in tiny-technology enabled companies.
